Out in the Alberta wilderness, you learn to appreciate the silence. It's a world that demands restraint, full of moments where time stands still. And when the chase is over, there's only one thing that belongs in your hand: a Hansen whisky as bold and timeless as Alberta itself. Each layer reveals something deeper – a complexity that mirrors the untamed wilderness, yet everything is somehow perfectly in balance. This is a whisky made for those who know that good things come with patience, and that it's just as much about the journey as it is about the reward. Raise your glass to the wild. This whisky is forged with the spirit of adventure, and as rugged and refined as those that sip it.
40% ABV
Nose: Sweet with a hint of spice. Warm buttery caramel with a soft hint of a fragrant floral note.
Palate: An abundance of warm buttery caramel and toffee. The famous Alberta rye spice comes through with a slight hint of vegital, then flows into sweet raisins.
Finish: Medium finish that's sweet to spicy, and then finishes sweet. The sherry cask is present and seems to linger on the tongue with a hint of black pepper, finishing with hints of dark cherry, leaving you wanting another sip.
