Q: Why can I only book certain time slots?
As a small business, we want to ensure that we’re able to make the most out of every day. By choosing either opening or closing for your event, the public is still able to enjoy our distillery during regular operating hours.
Q: How much will it cost?
After filling in the form below, our staff will prepare a quote for you. You can expect $100-$250/hour depending on date and time, as well as a drink minimum based on the size of your group and the length of your event. Please provide as many details as possible so we can give you the most accurate quote – we want to ensure that it is feasible in our space!
Q: Is a deposit required?
Yes. We require a deposit and the details will be outlined in our quote. Deposits are non-refundable and applied towards the outstanding balance of your event.
Q: What if I just have a small group?
If you just have a small group, private rentals may not be your best option. We recommend booking a private group tour! It’s a fun and unique way to spend time together learning about our distillery and all that we have to offer. Find out more about tours here.
Q: Am I able to book a private cocktail class?
We do offer private cocktail classes but are limited to when we’re able to run these classes. Please inquire with your date and time to info@hansendistillery.com to we can see if we can accommodate.
Classes include:
- Learning, making, and enjoying 3 different cocktails
- A brief tour of distillery operations
- Light snacks and drinks
Private cocktail classes are quoted based on a maximum of 16 guests, cost of the class is $1500 + GST (you can have fewer guests, however the cost will remain the same as you are buying out the class)
Please keep in mind that classes are approximately 2 hours in length, but may run over allotted time. All participants must be 18 years or older.
Q: Do you do in-home cocktail classes or tastings?
Sorry, we are currently not offering in-home cocktail classes.
Q: Is it possible to just have a private tour?
