Classic Whisky Cocktail: Mint Julep featuring Northern Eyes Whisky

Ingredients

  • 2oz Hansen Distillery Northern Eyes Whisky
  • 1/4oz rich Demerara syrup
  • 46 large mint leaves
  • Crushed or pebbled ice

Instructions

  1. Add mint and sugar to the bottom of a metal cup and muddle gently
  2. Add 1oz of whisky and enough crushed ice to cover
  3. Stir gently
  4. Add remaining 1 oz of whisky and top with a crust of crushed ice
  5. Garnish with several sprigs of fresh mint
