- 2oz Northern Eyes 5 Year Whisky
- 1/4 oz Triple IPA Syrup*
- 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters, Additional for Garnish (Optional)
- 4-6 Mint Leaves, Plus Sprig for Garnish
How to:
Add Triple IPA Syrup, Mint Leaves and Bitters to metal glass. Muddle for 10-15 Seconds.
Add in 5 Year Northern Eyes Whisky, and fill the metal glass 3/4 of the way with crushed ice. Stir until metal glass is frosted.
Add straw and more crushed ice to form a dome over the glass, garnish with a few drops and a spring of mint.
*For Triple IPA Syrup, In a pot add equal weights of a Triple IPA (I used Purple City from Town Square Brewing, if we want to include that) and Demerara Sugar, over medium heat. As it starts to boil, reduce heat and leave simmering on low for 10 minutes.
